1/2016 - Happy New Year!!!! Still on Oahu.

9/2015 - Month off everything due to politics with Japan. Has been a difficult year with China-Japan- USA relations.

11/ 2014 - sold studio piano to Churchmember @ Punahou St. during Triple Crown. Planned to Leave, stuck in Hawaii due to inclement weather on East Coast.

10/2014- Trip to NY Upstate Wine Country & attended Ithaca College Homecoming & Bucks County.

Studio Closed for Lessons.

3/2012 - Lessons on hold due to relocation, to resume as needed or otherwise until August 2012. Please contact if interested.

12/2011- Mililani Studio closed.

11/20/2011- Studio Recital. Piano: Martin Denny's Baldwin 9' grand. Cancelled/Instructor performance of: Beethoven Sonata Op. 13 Grave mvt. 1, Chopin Nocturnes Op 72 No. 1 & Op. 27 No 1, Rachmaninoff Prelude Op. 23 no. 5. Possible additions.
Performances dedicated to pianists/ composers, etc. born on Nov. 20th.

11/11/2011 -Rep. USA - ABAC/APEC Symposium in Honolulu, HI

9/2011- Teaching children beginners again. Special offer on Nextguru.com for lessons till 12/2011 starting at $50/45 min.

8/ 2011- Joined ASCAP as Publisher "Lost Bottle Publications" for playing in more mainstream (non-classical) venues. Played my orighinal improv for the Mercury Wonder Show at the Mercury Bar in Downtown, Honolulu.

7/2011- Website is at capacity- sourcing new options.

6/11-8/11 - Angela takes some voice lessons w/ Lani Starr through Legendary Voices Vocal Academy.

3/2011- return trip to Japan cancelled due to tsunami

2/2011- Received TESl/ESL/TEFL certificate

2011- Continuing In Hawaii for 1more year to stay for APEC - Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting.

12/2010- 9 year planned Trip to Tohoku Region/ Akita to see Relatives;- including my Grandmother Natsu Kikuchi who is a Japanese National Artist in Haiku, Tea Ceremony and Ikebana.

4/2010 - Preparing teaching materials, teaching, adults only.

3/2010- Mililani Music & Arts Academy begins spring enrollment.

10/2009 - Accepting lesson requests in Europe for possible 2010 relocation

9/2009 Started jazz duo group "Half-n-Half" with Sir Kai Li for vocalist & recorded demo

8/2009 Joined Honolulu local AFL-CIO Musician's Union

5/2005- 8/2005 29 Chinese exchange students to stay in the area through my business and PeopleLink. Much thanks to the volunteers who provided safe, fun, and exciting environments for the kids aged 9-16 from Guanzhou, China.

5/2005 Due to the loss of my beloved brother, who achieved fine pianism by becoming a finalist at the International Stravinsky Awards at age 9, I have halted my teaching. I am taking requests for lessons on occasion. Please do not contact me for rehersals a week prior to auditioning. You are being unreal. I intend to resume teaching by 2006. Please contact me for a referral if you are seeking a new teacher.

Students of Angela Kneale-PIano Studio have prepared up to 5 pieces each. A variety of Piano music will be performed includning; Music of Aaron Copland, Chopin, Burgmuller, Beethoven, Bartok, and Debussy, Showtunes, Popular Music, and Movie themes; "Roxie", "Hedwig's Theme", "Clocks", "We are Siamese", "The Circle of Life", Fur Elise.

April 23, 2005 Doylestown School of Music and Art: Student Recitals
12:30- 3:30 - students will play one piece each at the Lutheren Church in Doylestown. None of Angela Kneale's DSMA student's will be perform at the 1/2 hr to 45 min. instrumental and vocal recitals.

SPRING 2004- AAA Auditions- Moravian College, Peter hall
Students: Julie Gutekunst, Prairie Wentworth-Nice, Erin Ross

Students are researching composers to fufill a goal for the Studio Achievement Awards. These reports will be presented online and/or at the Studio Recital.

NYSMTA- Congratulations to Sienna Schickel for her Outstanding performance at the NYSMTA State Auditions Recital of her refreshing and original composition.

PA Dorothy Sutton Performance Festival- Regional
Students of Angela Kneale will perform in a large Recital for the State Talent Showcase for this festival. Expected attendance is well over 200. Performers making the journey to Wilkes University include Michelle Seternus aged 13 and Max Ephraim aged 12. Michelle will play the Golliwogg's Cakewalk by Debussy and Max will perform the Grasshopper's Parade by Prokofiev. Seternus performed one of her Bach Inventions and Ephraim performed Schumann's Siciliano as complimentary pieces at the Local auditions. Three other 1st year students will go to the State for Adjudication in closed auditions.
2nd year students attending the Festival for the first time received Superior & Superior+ marks from both judges to play in the State Talent Showcase. Works performed included Schumann's the Happy Farmer, Mozart K2, Beethoven Sonatina Alhm 5, & Monte sur le Elephant.

Student Recitals at DSMA
Angela Kneale's students will not be participating at this recital due to her required attendance for lessons in Ithaca, NY and Wilkesbarre, PA this weekend. Recitals will be held at St. Johns Episcopal Church from 12PM - 5pm. Admission is Free. Please attend. The next student recital is in Jan. at the end of the semester. Only 1 piece is allowed to be performed.

Angela Kneale's Studio Achievement Awards
Non-Competitive Goals are being set for students of all ages in the next week. Parents & students are encouraged to set goals, approved by the Teacher, that are challenging, but attainable through this studio awards program offered by the MTNA. Certificates will be awarded at the close of the School Year.

Doylestown School of Music- Faculty Concert
Angela Kneale plays Debussy at St. John's Episcopal Church in a Faculty Concert at 4:00PM in Doylestown. The concert will include a variety of perfomances by DSMA faculty. Admission: Children are Free, Adults $5.00

PA Dorothy Sutton Performance Festival- Local auditions
This year over 170 PA students participated in the Dorothy Sutton Performance Festival at the Local level in the Lehigh Valley alone. The Lehigh Valley -PMTA auditions were held at Moravian College where several Steinway B Concert grands are kept well hidden. 4 performers from Angela Kneale's Studio merited the Performance at the State Talent Showcase Recital with 2 final marks of Superior and/or Superior Plus by Max Ephraim, Julie Gutekunst, Michelle Seternus, Nicole Telesco. 5 of 8 performers from the Studio will receive a certificate from the State for scoring over a 90% on their theory written examinations.Congratulations to all!
