"My purpose as a piano instructor to engage students to know the whole big box of tone crayons they are to play with at the keyboard. Not to limit them as in most method books. to a singular shade (such as C major), in a small range of the entire pitch range. You cannot copy Bach, Beethoven, Burgmuller, Bartok, Mozart, or anyone if you don't have the mind to mix the tonal colors in the right way.
It would be like trying to learn from Van Gogh holding white paint only on one's palate and ignoring everything else that exists in the visual world."

TEFL/TESL Seeking a personal English language tutor?
Miss Angela is a native English speaker who is EFL & ESL certified and has a music college degree, as well as science-related master's studies. Additionally, she has many years of experience teaching American and European classical music and working with English speaking vocalists. This makes a difference because ALL English speakers still need to make some corrections when singing in a certain classical style to change tonation from their local English dialect.
Experienced with all ages from working professionals, college students, and young exchange students. Angela's students are primarily from Japan and China who focus on improving their English fluency while visiting the USA.
Angela is also experienced as a tour guide, concierge, and photographer for locations such as Oahu, HI, Historic Philadelphia, PA, as well as familiarity with Upstate New York and New York City, NY, and Washington, DC.
Students are advised to bring their own cell phones and photography equipment and also follow the advised schedule for optimal lighting for outside photography.
